The almond is originally a native of Iran and surrounding countries [ Commonly used in the Middle East, India, and North Africa ] but has become widely cultivated elsewhere.
The Drupe is the fruit of the Almond tree and the Almond is its seed… Although commonly classified as a Nut it is actually a seed.
