Toro: The most prized part of the bluefin tuna is the belly, or toro, which is characterised by its high fat content. This gives it a rich, buttery texture and a delicate flavour that is highly valued in Mediterranean dishes, particularly when grilled or served as part of an antipasto platter.

Steaks and Grills: Bluefin tuna is often enjoyed as a steak, grilled or seared to perfection. The meat’s dense texture holds up well to cooking, and its rich flavour is complemented by simple seasonings such as olive oil, lemon, and herbs, allowing the natural taste of the fish to shine through.
