Welcome to our beginner’s course on bread making! In this course, you will learn the art and science of bread making, from the essential ingredients and equipment to advanced techniques. We will cover yeast and non-yeast breads and explore different mixing methods, kneading, fermentation, and baking. Whether you are a complete novice or have some experience with bread making, this course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to create delicious homemade breads.

Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with the ingredients and equipment and to experiment with different techniques and recipes. You will learn how to mix and knead the dough, proof and shape it, and create the perfect crust. We will also cover common problems that can arise during breadmaking and provide tips on troubleshooting and fixing them.

By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of the science behind bread making and the confidence and skills to create a variety of delicious breads at home. Whether you want to make a classic loaf of bread or try something more adventurous, like sourdough or flatbread, this course will give you the foundation you need to get started.

Welcome to our course on making simple cheese! This course is designed to introduce you to the world of cheese making and teach basic techniques and principles. We will cover everything from milk safety and hygiene to slow pasteurization, cheese recipes, ageing and storage. Throughout the course, we will focus on “simple cheese-making techniques” that you can easily replicate at home. We will also discuss “milk safety and hygiene in cheese making” to ensure that your cheese is safe to eat. You will learn about the benefits of “slow pasteurization for cheese making” and practice this technique hands-on. You will also have the opportunity to make different types of cheeses, such as “cottage cheese” and “ricotta”, and learn about “cheese ageing and storage methods” to ensure that your cheese is at its best. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with cheese making, this course will give you the knowledge and skills to make delicious and safe cheese at home.

You’ll start this class off with a refreshing salad of cooked beets and oranges over lettuce, sprinkled liberally with feta cheese. Then you will create a delicious roasted salmon, topped with an olive tapenade that gives a hint of umami, savory flavor to your tender salmon steak.

Cue up your knife skills with the ratatouille, chopping zucchini, onions, yellow squash, and peppers. Follow this with a refreshing homemade raspberry sorbet.

Hone your knife skills as we teach you how to butcher a whole chicken and create delicious dishes using every part of the bird. Our chefs will give you key knowledge on essential knife techniques, along with tips on how to maintain your blades.

Learn the fundamentals of basic knife cuts and make cooking at home simple.

In this knife skills cooking class, Chef Paul will explain how to choose the best knives and how to take care of the ones you already have, along with teaching you slicing, dicing and chopping techniques you’ll utilize from appetizer to dessert.

As you prepare dishes like fresh tomato bruschetta, roasted chicken with vegetables and apple tarte fine together, Chef Paul will teach you the proper techniques for chopping and slicing vegetables, mincing herbs and supreming citrus. You’ll get firsthand experience using what you’ve learned to prepare a great meal!
